about the Support Our Shelters Shelter list

The Support Our Shelters List has moved to the Ferret Shelters Directory.

The Support Our Shelters list was designed and created to assist the members of the Ferret Mailing List (FML) and anyone else who cared to use it--in finding ferret shelters around the world.

The shelters listed with S.O.S. have requested to be listed and provided information on the number of ferrets in the shelter and their needs. While S.O.S. verifies the information as much as possible, we cannot verify all the information received. However, we do verify the information as much as possible before we use the funds donated to us to support a specific shelter.

We hope you will support at least one ferret shelter, and we encourage supporters to verify the shelter's information for themselves. S.O.S. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
